The Tree Wisemans
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Ridgefield, Washington · Clark County
A family choose-and-cut farm planted in 1980 between Ridgefield, Battle Ground and La Center, with nearly 30 acres and about 35,000 noble, Douglas, grand, Fraser and Nordmann firs a few minutes off I-5.
Trees are tagged with prices out in the fields, and only tagged trees may be cut, so you know the cost before you saw. Nobles are the farm's specialty, and Fraser and Nordmann fir cost a little more than grand and Douglas.
The owners' family makes the wreaths by hand from noble fir, incense cedar and juniper, and custom shapes can be ordered. The farm also sells stands with large water bowls, drills trunks to fit and can flock or fireproof trees up to about 9 feet, which takes an extra day to dry.
