Klopman Farms
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Washougal, Washington · Clark County
A 100-acre family tree farm in the hills east of Washougal, a short drive from Vancouver and Portland, with u-cut noble, Douglas, Fraser and grand fir and a big Christmas barn with a wood stove.
Trees start about a 40-foot walk from the barn, or you can roam the wider fields for u-cut trees up to around 20 feet. Helpers will cut for you if you prefer, and on weekends a tractor pulls one trailer for passengers and one for trees back to the barn. Each tree is shaken, the trunk squared off, a stand hole drilled if needed and the tree baled, then carried to your car.
Inside the barn there is free coffee, cocoa and candy canes, a gift shop with ornaments and wreaths, and a snack stand. Pre-cut trees are also available. Dogs under control are welcome; bring bags. Cash, checks and cards are accepted.
