Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Fombell, Pennsylvania · Beaver County
A large nursery and tree farm in Fombell, founded in 1939, whose founder helped start the Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Growers Association, with tractor-pulled wagons out to cut-your-own fields and a pre-cut lot.
Ride a tractor-pulled wagon out to the fields to find your tree, or pick one from the pre-cut lot near the nursery. Varieties include Fraser and Canaan fir and Colorado blue spruce.
The farm also grows evergreens, shrubs and shade trees for landscaping, so the nursery is worth a look in other seasons too. Season dates and prices are not posted in a readable form online, so call before you go.
