Grupp's Christmas Trees

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Harmony, Pennsylvania · Butler County

A family-run choose-and-cut farm in Harmony, Butler County, that has grown trees on its acres for about four decades, where staff hand you a saw and a cart and point you to the rows.

At the barn you get a saw and a cart, then head into the fields to find and cut your tree yourself. The farm has been planting Canaan and Concolor fir, which hold up better in dry summers than Fraser.

It is a no-frills, do-it-yourself visit that many families make a yearly habit. The season starts the day after Thanksgiving, so plan on mud and wear boots. The official site was not readable for this guide, so check hours and prices with the farm before you go.
