Candle Tree Farm

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Washington, Pennsylvania · Washington County

A choose-and-cut farm south of Washington where a tractor-drawn wagon takes families out to fields of pine, fir and spruce, including big Norway spruce for tall rooms, with pick-your-own blueberries in summer.

Ride the wagon out to the fields and pick from Scotch pine, Concolor, Douglas fir and blue spruce, plus a small number of Fraser fir. Saws are available to share, or bring your own hand saw; chainsaws and reciprocating saws are not allowed. Pre-cut trees are also sold in the barn and in a separate field.

The farm has said its own field supply is tight, so arrive early in the season for the widest choice. Call ahead before coming for a large Norway spruce, and plan for mud in wet weather. Weekday hours are short, starting mid-afternoon.
