A family farm on Route 18 just south of Raccoon Creek State Park that has grown its own Canaan fir and Colorado blue spruce from seed since the late 1970s, with cut-your-own trees from 6 to 16 feet tall.
A wagon carries visitors out to the fields, where the cut-your-own rows run from mid-size trees to tall blue spruce for high ceilings. If you would rather skip the field, freshly cut trees are kept in the barn, most of them 6 to 10 feet.
The barn shop sells handmade live, dried and artificial wreaths, garland, glass ornaments and other decor. Bring cash or a checkbook, since cards are not accepted, and leave pets at home. Prices are not posted online, so call ahead if you want a quote for a large tree.
