A coastside family farm on Highway 1 near Pescadero that turns its choose-and-cut season into a weekend winter festival, with tractor rides, wreath-making and marshmallow roasting alongside fields of homegrown trees.
Entry is by timed ticket, bought online or at the gate, and a tree ticket covers admission plus one cut-your-own tree. Saws are supplied and staff will help with the cut, then wrap the tree and tie it to your car, up to two trees per vehicle. The farm grows Douglas fir, Monterey pine, Sierra redwood, incense cedar and Arizona and Leyland cypress, with pre-cut noble and Nordmann firs brought in from Oregon.
The festival runs Friday through Sunday on four weekends, and visits are capped at about three and a half hours. Wreath-making tickets are sold separately. Kids will find hay bales, swings and a tube slide, and dogs are welcome. Cash and cards are accepted.
