Rainy Mountain Farms
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Sandy, Oregon · Clackamas County
A small farm on Marmot Road east of Sandy, toward Mount Hood, that plants about a thousand trees a year, mostly noble fir with some Nordmann and a few blue spruce, all at one price.
Every tree costs the same regardless of size. Loaner saws and a baler are available if you cut your own, or you can book an appointment and have the crew cut, bale and load the tree onto your car for a set fee.
On drizzly days the farm puts out hot cocoa and coffee, and wreaths made by the local 4-H club are for sale. Marmot Road sits in the foothills, so expect cooler, wetter weather than in Portland.
