Pea Ridge Forest
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Hermann, Missouri · Warren County
A family-owned tree farm and nursery outside Hermann, growing Christmas trees since 1972, with field-cut pines, spruce and Fraser fir, hayrides to the fields and a stone-fireplace barn with a gift shop.
On weekends a hayride takes you out to the rows of Scotch pine, white pine, Norway spruce and Fraser fir, and some white pines top 10 feet. Staff shake and bale your tree so it drops fewer needles and rides home more easily.
Back at the barn there are fresh wreaths and greens, ornaments from around the world, food, kettle corn, free hot chocolate on weekends and local wine by the fire, and Santa visits on weekends. Leashed dogs are welcome. The farm takes cash, checks and major credit cards, and since it sits in Missouri wine country, a tree trip pairs easily with a winery stop.
