A young family tree farm off Ash Street in Lino Lakes with a small but growing cut-your-own field, a big pre-cut selection, a campfire and free hot chocolate.
Most trees here are sold pre-cut, with more than a thousand on hand from 6 to 12 feet, but a few hundred trees in the field are set aside for families who want to cut their own. The farm has planted balsam, Fraser and Canaan fir along with pine and spruce, and the cut-your-own selection is growing each year.
Beyond the trees, there are wreaths, garland, porch pots and greenery, plus a campfire, a straw play area for kids, a vintage tractor, music and photo spots. Part of each season's sales goes to local school groups.
