B&J Evergreen Clear Lake Choose & Cut Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Clear Lake, Minnesota · Sherburne County
A long-running family tree farm north of Becker where you drive into the fields to cut fir, pine or spruce up to about 14 feet, with a camel, a petting zoo and free wagon rides on event weekends.
Pick up a free saw and a field map, then follow the marked farm roads in your own vehicle to any open section. Trees are not pre-tagged, so you can choose any tree in an open block; staff measure it and give you a tag for the cashier. Shaking and baling are free, and staff help load it with twine on hand.
On select weekends the farm adds free Santa visits, wagon and pony rides, face painting and chainsaw carving, plus kettle corn, coffee and a Cub Scout food tent. The petting zoo, playground and campfire are open whenever the farm is. Cash, checks and cards are accepted, but there is no ATM, and leashed pets are welcome.
