Hansen Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Ramsey, Minnesota · Anoka County
A long-running family tree farm in Ramsey with signed fields of fir, pine and spruce, where one set price covers your tree plus hayrides, cocoa, cider and a bonfire.
Stop at the entrance for a saw, a field map and directions, then drive out to the signed rows and cut your tree, or ask anyone in an orange vest to cut it for you. Lay the tree on your vehicle and drive to a shaking and baling shelter, where staff wrap and tie it for the ride home. You can pay a cashier outdoors or check out online from your car.
The flat price also covers daily hayrides, hot cocoa and cider, a shared bonfire and family campfires, and free greens from the bough shelter. Weekends add Christmas sausage, and a heated portable restroom with a changing station is on site. Leashed dogs are welcome.
