Leber Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Allegan, Michigan · Allegan County
A Michigan Centennial Farm outside Allegan, owned by the Leber family since 1903 and growing Christmas trees since the late 1970s, with wagon rides to the fields and a gift shop of handmade wreaths.
Ride the wagon out to the rows of Canaan fir and blue spruce, borrow one of the farm's saws and cut your own, or choose a pre-cut tree by the barn. Trees are shaken, baled and drilled for pin stands, and staff can help lift the tree onto your vehicle, though you will need to tie it down yourself. Twine is available, and other fastening supplies are sold in the shop.
The season is short and runs on weekends only, so check the farm's Facebook page for the current schedule. Bring cash or a check with ID, since cards are not accepted. Leashed dogs are welcome, but personal chainsaws are not.
