Prince Trees (West Olive)

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · West Olive, Michigan · Ottawa County

The lakeshore location of the Prince family's tree business near Grand Haven, with a flat-price u-cut field of pine and spruce plus a small number of Fraser fir, and an early start for wreaths and porch decor.

Handsaws are provided, and every u-cut tree costs the same regardless of size. The farm itself notes that the u-cut field here runs on the short side, so taller trees are more likely among the pre-cuts, which are priced by height. A limited number of Fraser fir up to about six feet can be cut.

Shaking, baling and drilling are a dollar each, and stands and bags are sold on site. Payment is cash or local check only. Leashed, well-trained dogs are welcome, and the farm is closed on Sundays.
