St. Croix Valley Trees
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Somerset, Wisconsin · St. Croix County
A whimsical cut-your-own farm in Somerset, about 45 minutes from the Twin Cities, with eight kinds of fir, pine and spruce, a kids' castle and a 1904 barn.
Reserve a time before you go: reservations hold your parking spot and your chance to cut, and walk-ins without one are limited to leftover pre-cut trees. Hand saws and a sled are provided, power saws are not allowed, and the farm shakes and bales your tree for you.
Trees are priced individually, from bargain pines to tall firs priced by the foot. Kids can explore the castle and play the gumball challenge, and there is hot chocolate and brats. Leashed dogs are welcome. Payment is by card or check only, since the farm no longer takes cash.
