The weekend-only sister farm of Clawson's, tucked off Big Hill Road north of Boone, with Fraser firs from tabletop size to around nine and a half feet and wide mountain views from the fields.
Panoramic View opens only on a handful of weekends around Thanksgiving, so plan around its short calendar. Once there you can wander the Fraser fir rows, take a hayride and visit the farm animals, and free hot cocoa and coffee are served.
The farm sells Fraser fir and white pine wreaths and garland as well. Pets are welcome, and cash, checks and cards are all accepted. To find it, take Highway 194 North about five miles from Boone, turn right on Big Hill Road and then right on Panoramic Lane.
