A small choose-and-cut farm in the Sugar Grove area west of Boone with Fraser firs from about three to fourteen feet, plus fir and white pine wreaths and garland.
Bear Wallow keeps a short calendar, opening on a few weekends around Thanksgiving but not on Thanksgiving Day itself. The Fraser fir range goes from small trees to tall ones of around fourteen feet.
Wreaths and white pine garland are sold at the farm. Phone numbers differ between listings and the farm has no full website, so check the latest dates on its listing before you make the drive.
