Frosty's Choose & Cut
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · West Jefferson, North Carolina · Ashe County
A lively Ashe County farm near West Jefferson that pairs Fraser fir choose-and-cut with free hayrides, a bonfire with s'mores, a build-your-own-wreath station and a holiday market.
Frosty's feels more like an outing than a quick tree stop. Free hayrides run out to the Fraser fir fields, and the trees mostly fall between six and twelve feet. Back at the barn there is a bonfire with s'mores, hot chocolate and hot cider, and you can make your own wreath.
The holiday market carries local crafts, pottery, candles and baked goods, and there are activities for kids and restrooms on site. Friday hours are short and late, so come Saturday if you want the full day.
