Westman's Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Dexter, Michigan · Washtenaw County
A family-run u-cut farm north of Dexter, open since 1965, with spruce and fir mostly in the 5- to 8-foot range at one flat price and staff who will help seniors cut and load.
Bow saws, twine, a baler, a shaker and a pin-stand drill are all free to use. Every tree costs the same, and most are between 5 and 8 feet, so come early if you want a taller one. Species include Norway and blue spruce plus concolor, Canaan and Korean fir.
The farm describes itself as senior friendly and accessible, and staff can help with cutting and loading. Bring cash or a check, because credit cards are not accepted. Weekday hours are short and late in the afternoon, so weekends are easiest.
