A Mechanicsburg tree lot with historic 1800s barns that opens a choose-and-cut field of Canaan fir for the first time in 2026, alongside its long-hours pre-cut lot.
The cut-your-own field grows Canaan fir from about 4 to 9 feet, priced by height. Saws, pull sleds and twine are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own saw, and the crew will drill, bale and help load your tree for free. The field is open Thursday through Sunday during daylight, while the pre-cut lot with Douglas fir and other varieties stays open late every day.
Weekend pop-up shopping runs in the barns, and the farm also books photography sessions on the property. Call the number posted on site if you need a hand in the field.
