Bartels Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Hamilton, Ohio · Butler County
A 124-acre family farm between Trenton and Oxford with about 20 acres of hand-planted Christmas trees, open a few weekends each season by appointment for a quiet choose-and-cut visit.
Visits are booked ahead in time slots, which keeps the fields calm. Eastern white pine, Norway spruce and Colorado blue spruce sell at one flat price whatever the size, while prime Canaan fir is priced by the foot. Fraser fir is offered pre-cut for anyone who wants that species.
The farm was first planted in 2008 and is replanted every year. Live, dug Norway and blue spruce are also available for planting after the holidays. Book early, since weekend slots are limited.
