Cockburn Farm

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Garrison, New York · Putnam County

A Putnam County farm on Route 9 in Garrison with cut-your-own Fraser, Douglas and concolor fir, open every day from late November through Christmas Eve.

Hand saws are provided, so you can walk the rows and cut your own Fraser, Douglas or concolor fir without bringing any tools. Wear boots and gloves, since farm fields in late fall are often muddy and cold, and bring rope or straps to secure the tree for the drive home.

The farm opens daily after Thanksgiving and keeps a short morning schedule on Christmas Eve. It sits in the Hudson Highlands on Route 9, so it pairs easily with a day trip up the river.
