Bauman's Farm Market
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Webster, New York · Monroe County
A Webster farm market with a cut-your-own field of spruce and fir out back and a pre-cut lot by the store, where hot mulled cider and cider donuts are part of the visit.
U-cut customers get a saw at the shack, get pointed to the variety they want, cut the tree and drag it back to be baled in netting. The shack has no electricity, so u-cut trees are paid for in cash on the spot. A burn barrel is lit on cold days.
The pre-cut lot carries Fraser, Douglas and concolor fir, which staff cut fresh, net, drill and tie to your car. Wreaths and poinsettias are sold inside the market. Near the end of the season, stop at the market before heading to the field.
