A small family tree farm near Oak Grove, selling Christmas trees since 2014, with white pine, Scotch pine, Norway spruce and a few Canaan firs to choose in the field, plus shipped-in Fraser firs.
You walk the plantings and pick a tree from what is growing on site, and staff are on hand to help you choose and to get the tree tied down for the drive home. Fraser firs, which the farm says it cannot grow in Missouri, come in pre-cut along with other trucked-in varieties.
The gift shop sells crafts, custom wreaths and honey from the farm's own bee hives. The farm keeps weekend hours, with a shorter Sunday afternoon, so plan around those. Cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted, and photo sessions must be booked ahead.
