TLV Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Glenelg, Maryland · Howard County
A Glenelg tree farm in western Howard County where most trees are cut in the field, priced by species rather than height, with Santa in his workshop on weekends and a warming hut serving homemade snacks.
Borrow a saw and a wagon, head into the rows and pick anything up to about eight feet, with the same price for a small tree as a tall one. White pine is the least expensive, and Douglas, Canaan and balsam fir and blue spruce share one price. Fresh-cut Fraser firs come from North Carolina. Shaking, baling and drilling for a stand are free.
Santa's Workshop sells handmade wreaths, crafts, ornaments and tree stands, and kids can visit Santa. The warming hut has hot dogs, snacks and warm drinks. Cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
