Hunter's Honey Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Martinsville, Indiana · Morgan County
A honey farm near Martinsville with about 4,000 Scotch and white pines to choose and cut, pre-cut firs, and a gift shop where you can sample local honey and warm up with hot honey cider.
Pines in the field run from small tabletop sizes up to about 14 feet and are sold by the foot. Once cut, your tree is shaken to drop loose needles, baled for the ride home and drilled to fit your stand. Pre-cut Canaan and Douglas firs are available for the same per-foot price.
The gift shop has a honey tasting station, a cookie-making table for kids and complimentary hot honey cider during the season, along with wreaths and sturdy tree stands. The farm is open daily in the holiday season, with shorter Sunday afternoon hours.
