Oak Ridge Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Middletown, Connecticut · Middlesex County
A Middletown farm with more than a thousand trees ready to cut on gentle ground, many of them 8 feet or taller, open for a short window after Thanksgiving.
Fraser and Douglas fir and blue spruce make up most of the fields, with some concolor and balsam fir. The walk is short and fairly level, saws and tree carts are provided, and trees can be wrapped for the drive home.
Bring cash or a check. Dogs are not allowed, tailgating is off the table, and the farm asks visitors to carpool. The season is brief, so go early, and call ahead in bad weather.
