Walls Family Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Terrell, Texas · Kaufman County
A family-run Texas tree farm east of Dallas near Terrell, where Virginia pines and Leyland cypress grow in the field for cut-your-own and the trees are shaken and baled at no charge.
Walls Family Farm grows its own Virginia pine and Leyland cypress and sells them by the foot, so a smaller tree costs less. You pick and cut your tree in the field, and the farm shakes and bales it free before you load up.
The farm opens earlier than many in the area, in the week of Thanksgiving, and then stays open on weekends until Christmas. It posts its season news on Facebook rather than a website, so check there for the current hours before you drive out.
