Akron Acres
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Akron, New York · Erie County
A farm east of Clarence where a horse-drawn hayride carries you to the fir fields, with a bonfire for roasting marshmallows, farm animals and a country store full of farm-made wreaths.
Cut-your-own trees are reached by horse-drawn hayride, so buy ride tickets for everyone in your group along with the tree. You may bring your own saw. The fields grow balsam, Canaan, Fraser and concolor fir, and the same varieties are sold pre-cut near the store.
