A Calvert County farm near Port Republic where you cut Norway spruce or white pine in the field, with pre-cut firs, fresh greenery and a couple of Santa weekends in early December.
Cut-your-own trees here are Norway spruce and white pine, and some live trees reach about 20 feet. If you prefer a fir, pre-cut Fraser, Douglas and balsam firs are also sold. The farm makes wreaths, vertical swags and garland, and you can call ahead for special orders.
On its Santa weekends there is hot cocoa, coffee, cider and kettle corn. Cash, checks and cards are all accepted. The farm posts updates on its Facebook page.
