A select-and-cut tree farm near Yorktown, west of Muncie, with fields of pines, Canaan fir, Norway spruce and concolor fir, plus pre-cut Fraser firs and pre-ordered flocked trees.
Field trees include white and Scotch pine, Canaan fir, Norway spruce and concolor fir, with pines at the low end of the price list and concolor at the top. Pre-cut Fraser firs are available, and flocked trees can be ordered ahead.
The opening Friday and Saturday require an appointment booked online, which spreads out the crowds. On weekdays the farm opens late in the afternoon, and the fields close half an hour before the farm does, so arrive with time to search.
